On January 25, 2025, the dead body of a man, identified as Mousab Abdul Hamid al-Eisa from Hemar Jes village to the south of Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, born in 2003, was found bearing gunshot wounds by local residents in the schoolyard of al-Beram School in Manbij’s southern neighborhood. The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify who is responsible for Mousab’s death as of this writing. The controlling forces must uphold their responsibilities in identifying his killers.
