A man, identified as Mohammad Ahmad al-Zu’bi from Tafas city in western rural Daraa governorate, was shot dead on January 7, 2025, by unidentified gunmen in the middle of Tafas city. The area is under the current transitional authorities in Syria.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Mohammad is a civilian who had never been involved with any military formation.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is trying to locate eyewitnesses to obtain more information about the incident.
