On December 8, 2024, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, bombed a house in Hammam Kabir village to the east of Manbij city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, killing four civilians, and injuring others. The area targeted is under the control of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Turkish forces have violated international humanitarian law by killing civilians through this indiscriminate or deliberate bombardment, as it failed to distinguish between civilians and fighters.
