A boy, identified as four-year-old Mousa Ahmad al-Barhou from Um Adasat al-Farat village to the west of Manbij city in eastern Aleppo governorate, was killed on December 7, 2024, by Assad regime forces who shot him directly when his father refused to give them their car in Um Adasat al-Farat village. The area is under the control of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Assad regime forces have violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
