A man, identified as 49-year-old Foad Saleh al-Abdullah from Braidij village in northern rural Hama governorate, was shot and killed on December 5, 2024, by Syrian regime forces at a regime checkpoint near Jarniyyet al-Tar in western rural Hama governorate. The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Syrian regime forces have violated international human rights law through this act of killing. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
