On December 3, 2024, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) used a rocket launcher to fire multiple rockets at Jarablos city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, killing one man, identified as Mohammad Nour al-Nasser, and a boy, identified as Mohammad Dyab, both from Deir Ez-Zour governorate. The attack also partially destroyed and moderately damaged the facilities of main market in the center. The area targeted is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that, through this attack, SDF has unequivocally violated UN Security Council resolutions 2139 and 2254, which prohibit indiscriminate attacks.
The SDF has also violated the rules of international humanitarian law on distinguishing between civilians and members, which only aims to spread panic among civilians.
