On November 30, 2024, a man, identified as 56-year-old Mustafa Hussein Ramadan from al-Talhiya village in eastern rural Idlib governorate was killed, while another was injured, in a bombing involving a booby-trapped television of unidentified source in an agricultural project in northern al-Talhiya village. The area is under the control of armed opposition factions and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) is still trying to locate eyewitnesses and survivors to obtain more information about the incident.

We condemn all bombings that take place in residential areas. We call on the controlling forces to uphold their responsibilities in protecting civilians in their areas. Syria will never have true stability without a genuine political transition process towards democracy within a fixed timetable.
