On October 24, 2024, a rocket launcher fired multiple rockets at al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo governorate, injuring seven civilians, including four women and a girl. The attack also heavily destroyed a number of houses. The area targeted is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) suspects that the source of the attack was either Syrian regime forces or Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), considering that the projectiles originated from the direction of the areas under their control in al-Arima area in eastern Aleppo governorate. Investigations are still ongoing to accurately identify the party responsible for the attack.
