A boy, identified as 15-year-old Mohammad Yassin al-Ali from Awn al-Dadat village in northern Manbij city in eastern Aleppo governorate, was shot and killed on September 27, 2024, by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) personnel while he was in an agricultural land along with his family on the outskirts of his home village. The area is under the control of the SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that the SDF has, through this act of killing, again violated international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
