On August 15, 2024, three children were injured by the explosion of a war remnant of unidentified source in al-Sahhari neighborhood in Daraa city. The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that war remnants still pose a serious threat to civilians’ lives. We have released numerous reports on cluster munitions and war remnants and called for providing special equipment to help local residents properly remove explosive remnants.
