An unidentified sheepherder was injured on April 12, 2024, by the explosion of a war remnant of as yet unidentified source in al-Baath Sport City in Homs city. He was taken to al-Bassel Hospital in Karm al-Louz neighborhood in the city for treatment. A number of sheep were also killed in the explosion. The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that war remnants continue to pose a serious threat to civilians’ lives.
