A man, identified as Fadi al-Masri from al-Wa’er neighborhood in Homs city, was shot dead on March 24, 2024, by Syrian National Army (SNA) personnel on 36th Street in al-Sena’a area of eastern al-Bab city in eastern Aleppo governorate. The area is under the SNA’s control.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that Fadi was a former SNA soldier.

SNHR also notes that, through this killing, the SNA has again violated international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
