Shawkat al-Hassan, a member of Jarablos Local Council in eastern rural Aleppo governorate, was killed on March 19, 2024, in crossfire during infighting between two Syrian National Army (SNA) groups at Jarablos Border Crossing with Türkiye in northeastern Aleppo governorate. The area is under the control of the SNA.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) condemns what happened. The controlling forces bear responsibility for holding the perpetrators accountable.
