A boy, identified as Hamza Yousef al-Mohammad originally from al-Mray’iya village in eastern rural Deir Ez-Zour governorate, died in a fire of unidentified cause that broke out in his family’s tent in al-Sad camp for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in al-Arisha town in southern rural Hasaka governorate, while his parents sustained serious injuries. The area is under the control of Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) calls on international relief organizations to meet the urgent basic needs of IDPs’ camps, and to supply the camps’ administration with additional tents for emergencies.
