On February 7, 2024, the body of a man, identified as Mohammad Khaled Jabr al-Amir from Tseel town in western rural Daraa governorate who worked as a plant seller, was found by local residents on Tal al-Jabiya-Jasim road in western Daraa governorate. Mohammad had gone missing near Jasim city two days before his body was found. The area is under the control of Syrian regime forces.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify Mohammad’s killers, with the controlling forces bearing responsibility for identifying his killers.
