A 10-year-old boy, identified as Mustafa Halawanji, died on November 5, 2023, of wounds sustained when a regime sniper shot him the day before, November 4 , in al-Kreizat village near Tadif city in eastern rural Aleppo governorate. While the area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA), it is exposed to regime areas.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that, through this act and other similar acts of killing, Syrian regime forces have violated international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
