A 70-year-old woman, named as Qadriya Ibrhaim Ali from Koubak village, administratively a part of Ma’batli subdistrict in the suburbs of Afrin in northwestern Aleppo governorate, was killed on June 3, 2023, by gunfire whose source we have not yet been able to identify near the Ma’rata roundabout in the center of Afrin city, which is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA).
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) has not yet been able to identify the party responsible for Qadriya’s death. The controlling forces are responsible for identifying her killers.
