Mohammad Ahmad al-Osman, from al-Zaibaqiya village, administratively a part of Tal Abyad city in northern Raqqa governorate was abducted on March 21, 2023, by gunmen we have not yet been able to identify duringa raid on his house in the village. He was taken to an undisclosed location.
The area is under the control of the Syrian National Army (SNA). The Syrian Network for Human Rights has not yet been able to identify the party responsible for Mohammad’s abduction as of his writing. We condemn all acts of abduction and arbitrary arrest.
