On January 20, 2023, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) used rocket launcher to bomb residential neighborhoods in southern Izaz city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, injuring seven civilians, including one child, one woman, and four civilian police officers. Additionally, some houses suffered damages.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) condemns any attacks on vital facilities and civilian-populated areas. We hold the SDF responsible for this attack, and demand that an investigation be launched into it.
