Mohammad Rezkar Na’san, child born in 2009 from al-Ballor village, administratively affiliated with Ein al-Arab city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, was abducted for the purpose of conscription on January 2, 2023 by al-Shabiba al-Thawriya, (Revolutionary Youth), also known as the ‘’Joanne Schurchkar’, of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) after he was lured in Ein al-Arab city. He was taken to an SDF recruitment center in Hasaka city.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights notes that his family was not notified of what had happened to him. He was not allowed to contact or visit them. We have concerns that he will be thrust into direct and indirect military acts.
It should be noted that roughly 213 children are currently conscripted in SDF military training camps.
