Ibrahim Jneid al-Faraj, boy born in 2007, from Eebid village, administratively affiliated with Tal al-Daman, in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, he lives in Manbej city, eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate. He was recruited on December 20, 2022, by the al-Shabiba al-Thawriya, (Revolutionary Youth), also known as the ‘’Joanne Schurchkar’, which are part of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). He was taken to an SDF recruitment center.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights notes that his family was not notified of what had happened to him. He was not allowed to contact or visit them. We have concerns that he will be thrust into direct and indirect military acts.
It should be noted that roughly 213 children are currently conscripted in SDF military training camps.
