Khadija Mohammad al-Abd al-Jbara from Buqrus Tahtani village, eastern Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead on October 24, 2022 by unidentified gunmen near her home in the village, which is controlled by Syrian regime forces.
SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for her death, with the party controlling the area bearing responsibility for identifying her killers.
