The IDP camps in the northern and western suburbs of Idlib governorate witnessed a rainstorm on October 20, 2022, which caused damage to about 130 tents of the displaced people and their property in about seven of the camps scattered in the area.

The Syrian Network for Human Rights points out that these recurring severe weather conditions exacerbate the suffering of the displaced and force them to face additional multiple difficulties.

We appeal to international relief organizations, including the United Nations Humanitarian Affairs Organization, to quickly respond to the basic needs of the camps, and to provide camp administrations with a number of additional tents for use in emergency situations.
