The body of 75-year-old Abdul Razzaq Qasem al Masri from Ataman village in northern Daraa governorate, was found by other residents in his home in the village on September 16, 2022, bearing stab wounds to various parts of his body. The village is controlled by Syrian regime forces.
SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for his death. Although the controlling forces are responsible for finding and punishing the perpetrators of such crimes, they haven’t launched any investigation into this case, which raises suspicions of their involvement in this killing.
