Abdul Aziz Muhammad al Alou from Abo Erzala village of Tal Barrak northeast of Hasaka governorate was shot and killed by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel on August 12, 2022. Abdul Aziz tried to escape during the raid on his home in the village, and the SDF personnel shot him.
SNHR notes that through this killing, the Syrian Democratic Forces have violated the international human rights law, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
