Syrian Democratic Forces used a missile launcher to fire several missiles on Izaz city north of Aleppo governorate, on the evening of August 3, 2022, wounding five civilians (three children and two women). One of the missiles hit the perimeter fence at al Andalus Elementary School, southwest of the city, partially destroying it.

SNHR condemns all attacks on residential areas, as on vital facilities, and holds the Syrian Democratic Forces accountable for its actions. SNHR also calls on the SDF to launch an investigation into the incident and hold the perpetrators accountable.
