A civilian, a vegetable salesman from Ibta village in northern Daraa governorate, Muhammad Naser al Jahed al Aqra, was shot and killed on July 26, 2022 by unidentified gunmen, near his home in the village, which is under the control of the Syrian regime forces.

SNHR is still trying to reach eyewitnesses for more details of the incident.

SNHR condemns all killings of civilians and calls on controlling forces to assume their responsibility for protecting the civilian population in areas under their control and to launch an investigation into this incident and reveal its conclusions to the public.
