The body of a woman, whom we were unable to identify her name, was found by the Syrian Democratic Forces internal security forces’ personnel residents in Sector Five of al Hol Camp for IDPs near al Hol town in the eastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate on July 17, 2022, bearing gunshot wounds.
The camp is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for their deaths. Although the controlling forces in the area bear responsibility for revealing the party responsible for the killing, these forces haven’t launched any investigation, which indicates they may be involved in this murder and similar incidents.
