The Syrian regime artillery forces – located in Kafranbel city in southern Idlib governorate – fired several shells on Balyoon village in Jabala al Zawiya in the southern suburbs of Idlib governorate on July 8, 2022, wounding a civilian and partially damaging a residential building.
SNHR condemns the Syrian regime’s and its allies’ bombardment of residential areas which fails to distinguish between such civilian residential areas and military targets, as well as the resulting destruction of homes that pushes civilians towards forced displacement.
