A twelve-year-old child, Kamal Ahmad al Omar, from al Mukhtalata neighborhood in Raqqa city has died on June 22, 2022, after the explosion of a hand grenade he found on the roof of an industrial shop in al Sena’a neighborhood in Raqqa city. 

The city is under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces, and SNHR is still trying to reach eyewitnesses for more details of the incident.

SNHR condemns the phenomenon of random weapons among civilians without control and restrictions, and it is the responsibility of the controlling forces to control this phenomenon.
