Three civilians  – named as Suhaib al Wawi and Muhammad Dahdal from Nawa city west of Daraa governorate, and Fares al Khatib from Jasem city northwest of Daraa governorate – all of whom had previously signed settlement agreements with the Syrian regime, were shot dead on May 29, 2022 by Syrian regime forces’ personnel while they were travelling along the road between Jasem city and Nawa city west of Daraa governorate.

SNHR notes that Syrian regime forces have violated international human rights law through these killings, and emphasizes that the perpetrators must be held accountable.
