The body of a displaced woman, her name yet to be identified, was found in the Sector Five in al Hol Camp for IDPs near al Hol town in the eastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate on May 17, 2022, bearing gunshot wounds. The camp is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for her death.
