Bashar Swaidan was shot and killed on May 2, 2022, by members of the Suqour al Shamal Brigade of the Syrian National Army as he passed a checkpoint near Qazlbash village known as al Ras al Ahmar in Aleppo governorate northern suburbs after he allegedly didn’t stop at the point.
SNHR notes that the Syrian National Army has violated the international human rights law through this killing, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
