The bodies of two women, residents at al Hol Camp for IDPs near al Hol town in al Hasaka governorate eastern suburbs, were found by residents in the fourth section of al Hol Camp on April 18, 2022, with apparent gunshot wounds in their heads.

The camp is under the control of the Syrian Democratic forces, SNHR has yet been unable to identify the party responsible for the killings so far.

Although the controlling forces in the area bear responsibility for revealing the party responsible for the killings, these forces haven’t launched any investigation, which indicates they may be involved in this murder and similar incidents.
