Abdul Salam Salem al Abou from Theyban town east of Deir Ez-Zour governorate was shot dead on March 28, 2022 by Syrian Democratic Forces personnel in a raid on his home in Theyban town to arrest him.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces personnel detonated the house of the victim after killing him using IEDs before leaving the site of the incident.
SNHR stresses that the Syrian Democratic Forces violated the international human rights law through this killing, and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
