Haidar Mhaidi al Saleh al Hussein from Hawayej Thyab Jazira village west of Deir Ez-Zour governorate was shot and killed on February 28, 2022 by Syrian Democratic Forces in a raid on a river-crossing in the village.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have violated international human rights law through this killing and the perpetrators must be held accountable.
