Syrian Democratic Forces personnel fired a 23mm machine gun at the Izaz National Hospital west of Izaz city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on February 27, 2022, destroying several windows in the hospital and wounding a civilian patient.
SNHR stresses that the hospital is located in a residential area with no military presence.
SNHR condemns the attack on the hospital, holds the Syrian Democratic Forces accountable for it, and calls on them to open an investigation into the incident and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
