Kamal Ali al Mehmad, from al Shyoukh village east of Aleppo governorate, was shot dead on February 27, 2022 by a Syrian Democratic Forces sniper while he was fishing on the Euphrates river bank near Jarablus city east of Aleppo governorate.
SNHR notes that Syrian Democratic Forces violated international human rights law through this killing, and the perpetrator must be held accountable.
