Mrs. Fatoum Ghazi al Lour, from Aleppo governorate, died in Mreimein village of Afrin city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo on January 20, 2022, when Syrian Democratic Forces personnel targeted the civilian vehicle she was in with a missile.
SNHR confirms that, through this attack, the Syrian Democratic Forces have undeniably violated UN Security Council Resolutions 2139 and 2254 that prohibit arbitrary attacks, as well as willfully disregarding international humanitarian law regarding the distinction between civilians and combatants.
