Syrian Democratic Forces used a missile launcher to fire several missiles at Jarablus city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on January 18, 2022, with one of the missiles hitting al Nour Mosque in the city center, damaging the building and its furniture.
SNHR stresses that the mosque is located in a residential neighborhood with no military presence.
SNHR condemns all such attacks on mosques and other places of worship, holding the SDF accountable for the incident and demanding that an investigation be launched.
