A man from al Bhar neighborhood in Daraa al Balad area of Daraa city, named as Shehadah Ahmad al Neimi, who worked as a shepherd, was shot dead on January 8, 2022, by unidentified gunmen in the Daraa al Balad area. SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses to obtain more details of the incident.
We condemn all attacks of this nature which target and kill civilians. Stability will not be achieved in Syria without achieving a political transition towards democracy implemented according to a strict timetable.
