A 17-year-old boy from Sbeikhan city in the east of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, named as Abdul Aziz Khalil al Hajr, was shot dead on December 9, 2021, by a military patrol affiliated with Russian forces in al Joura neighborhood in Deir Ez-Zour city.
SNHR notes that Russian forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
