The bodies of two brothers from al Ghariya al Sharqiya town in the east of Daraa governorate, named as Hussein and Ali Abdul Hafez Ghneim, who worked in the fuel trade, were discovered by families in al Shayyah area in Daraa city on December 10 bearing gunshot wounds.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the brothers’ killing, the area is controlled by Syrian regime forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, increasing the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
