A man from Raqqa city, named as Ja’bar al Tayyawi, was shot dead on October 11, 2021, by Syrian regime forces personnel on the pretext that he didn’t stop at one of their checkpoints in al Sabkha town in the eastern suburbs of the governorate.
SNHR notes that Syrian regime forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
