A child from al Qouriya city in east of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, named Abdul Rahman al Ali al Eid al Zubaidi, died on October 11, 2021, in a Turkish hospital due to wounds inflicted on September 28 in the explosion of two IEDs of an unknown source in Jarablos city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate.
Jarablos city is controlled by the Syrian National Army, and SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses to obtain more details of the incident.
We condemn all attacks of this nature which target and kill civilians, and call on the governing forces in every area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control, and to conduct investigations into all such incidents and reveal their findings to the public. Stability will not be achieved in Syria without achieving a political transition towards democracy implemented according to a strict timetable.
