A 19-year-old man, named as Ammar Khalaf al Sheikh, from Zaghir Jazeera village in the west of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead on September 10, 2021, by Syrian Democratic Forces’ personnel in a raid on the water crossing of the village.
SNHR notes that SDF has committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
