A girl, named as Fatimah Idris Na’san, born in 2006, from Qoujman village which is administratively a part of Afrin city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate who currently lives in al Shahbaa area in north of Aleppo governorate, was kidnapped for conscription by Syrian Democratic Forces on August 13, 2021, in al Shahbaa area and taken to an undisclosed location.
SNHR notes that none of the girl’s family members were informed of her conscription and she was prevented from contacting her family, who are banned from visiting her. SNHR fears that she will be enrolled directly and indirectly in military operations. We can confirm that the SDF has conscripted at least 113 children in its camps.
