A man, named as Met’eb Shreideh al Ghadir, and his son Ahmad, were shot dead on July 16, 2021, by Syrian Democratic Forces’ personnel backed by a US-led coalition warplane during a raid on Theyban town in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
