The body of a 25-year-old male Iraqi refugee, named as Hussein Hasan al Ashour, who had been living in al Hawl IDP Camp, was discovered in Section Three of the camp on July 12, 2021, bearing signs of gunshot wounds.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces.
