A man, named as Wafa Hasan al Bahiwa, from al Hadhoud village which is administratively a part of Manbej city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, was killed while three civilians were injured on May 31, 2021, when Syrian Democratic Forces’ personnel opened fire against a demonstration that broke out in the village against military conscription and rising prices.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
